Last updated: 13 June 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of InvoiceAI (“InvoiceAI”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of a firm or organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

InvoiceAI is an online tool that extracts structured data from invoice PDF files and exports it to Excel, CSV, and Tally-compatible XML formats. Use of the Service consumes credits, where one credit corresponds to one invoice processed.

3. Your Account

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account, to keep your login credentials confidential, and to be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Credits and Payments

5. Accuracy and Your Responsibility

Important: InvoiceAI uses automated artificial intelligence to extract data, which may contain errors, omissions, or misclassifications. The output is provided to assist you and does not replace your professional judgement.

You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted data before relying on it for any accounting, GST, taxation, statutory, or other purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, InvoiceAI is not liable for any errors in your books, returns, or filings, or for any penalties, interest, or losses arising from your use of extracted data that you did not verify.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: upload malicious files or malware; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users’ data; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service; or resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, trademarks, and content of InvoiceAI are owned by InvoiceAI or its licensors. You retain ownership of the data you upload and the exports you download. You grant us a limited licence to process your uploaded content solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers (including for AI extraction, hosting, and payments) as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or availability of these third parties beyond our reasonable control.

9. Service Availability and Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extraction will be fully accurate. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InvoiceAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold InvoiceAI harmless from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from your misuse of the Service or your upload of any content in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud or abuse, or where required by law. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
